The new FUSE R wheelchair has arrived to open up new possibilities and approaches. It has been designed down to the last detail for unique driving characteristics and comfort. With its minimalist rigid frame, the design of the FUSE R is very modern and distinctive.
Ο Rainer Küschall is a Swiss designer who lives with quadriplegia. After an accident, he experienced firsthand the rehabilitation of wheelchairs before becoming a pioneer in the field of wheelchair design. The first wheelchair he designed brought a revolution at that time and still remains the most copied basic design for wheelchairs worldwide today. His immense expertise and attention to every detail have contributed to the creation of the compact rigid-frame wheelchair, the FUSE R.

The frame design of the FUSE R allows for quick adjustment of seat height and center of gravity directly through the separated seat module. The trick here is that the seat module is only attached via four fixation points, which can be released very quickly and easily. This makes adjusting the height of the front and rear seat extremely easy. Various back and seat systems can easily be integrated into the seat module. A tube system allows the upholstery of the seat to be attached without screws. The fold-down backrest with locking function is standard, and the height of the backrest can also be adjusted. An ergonomically shaped back tube ensures even better positioning and comfort.
The optimally weighted frame design offers convincing stability and durability.
The front and rear wheels are permanently connected to each other, meaning that adjustments to the side frame and wheel adjustments are no longer necessary. The forged connection of the wheels follows the frame design and is equipped with hidden adjustment options.
Seat depth ranging from 340 – 500 mm.
Seat width ranging from 320 – 500 mm.
The option to choose from 22 different colors.
