The Varilite Stratus Cushion is an excellent choice for individuals with moderate to low risk of tissue breakdown and moderate positioning needs. The cushion features a unique automatic air intake-exhaust valve system, allowing it to conform to the user’s shape. This ensures even weight distribution on the cushion’s surface. We recommend purchasing a spare cover with every cushion purchase.
The air supports the load, while the foam keeps the air where it’s needed, maintains the cushion’s shape, and prevents bottoming out. Two types of foam create functional areas within the cushion: medium foam for the thigh troughs and pelvic well, as well as firm foam for the perimeter and the middle thigh separator.
