The unique patented oval frame of the wheelchair is stronger than the round one, as it is less likely to bend under pressure. It is also lighter, as the oval shape uses less material. Constructed from high-strength aluminum 7020, the frame undergoes a special thermal treatment using the patented ShapeLoc technology, allowing the tube to be significantly thinner and lighter without sacrificing strength. The NITRUM is hand-welded to ensure a more rigid and lightweight frame. The exceptionally rigid back support is made of forged aluminum, without compromising the adjustability of the seatback angle or height.
